December proved to be the perfect time for a workshop based on Amelia Island. The weather was cool, but not cold. The winter light was beautiful. The marsh was still showing some green. There was a hint of fall color in the landscape. Beaches were quiet. And it was easy to find a parking space and to get into local restaurants.
We had a great group of women who gathered to explore Amelia, Big Talbot, Little Talbot and Fort George Islands—photographing natural, designed and cultural landscapes, along with seascapes and stunning skies. Here’s a peek at some of the work they created throughout the week.
