about

Whether photographing a book, shooting a magazine assignment or simply following her bliss with a camera in hand, Lee Anne White strives to capture the essence of her subjects—those indispensable qualities that characterize their true nature. Sometimes this is a color, shape or texture. Other times it may be a gesture or motion. Quite often, it is the interaction of two or more elements that make a subject unique—particularly in designed landscapes where nature and man work hand in hand.

Lee Anne has photographed natural and designed landscapes for nearly 40 years. Her work has appeared in dozens of books and magazines, including five of her own books on landscape design. She is the former editor of Fine Gardening magazine and an instructor at the Maine Media Workshops. She serves on the Galleries Board and Media Advisory Board at Brenau University.

In addition to handling assignments, Lee Anne licenses stock photos of landscape architecture and garden design through her own searchable website. She also shoots portfolios for many of the country's top landscape designers. She is a member of IPNSTOCK, Garden Picture Library, Stock Artists Alliance (SAA) and the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).

Her personal work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and is available as fine art prints.
